ScrimBoard is a tool for running esports scrims. This page explains exactly what it stores, why, and who else sees it. It describes what the software does today, not what a template says.
What we collect
- Your account. An email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
- What you enter. Tournaments, teams, player names, match results and the settings you choose. This is the content of the product and it is stored so it is there when you come back.
- Screenshots you upload for automatic result entry, and the text extracted from them.
- Payment records. The amount, currency, status and reference of an order, and the email attached to it.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or anything from your device beyond what you type or upload. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site.
Card details never reach us
Card payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for those orders. Your card number, expiry and CVV are entered on Paddle.com Market Ltd’s systems and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers. We receive only the outcome of a payment — whether it succeeded, for how much, and a reference to it.
Because Paddle.com Market Ltd is the seller for those orders rather than a processor acting on our behalf, it is an independent data controller for the personal data it collects to complete the sale — your billing name, address, country and payment details, which it needs in order to charge tax correctly and to meet its own legal obligations. Its handling of that data is governed by Paddle’s privacy notice, not by this one. We share your account email address with it so a payment can be matched to the right account and a receipt can reach you.
Where payment is made by Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer instead, no reseller is involved and we see only what you send us: the payment confirmation and the email address to activate.
Screenshots and automatic extraction
When you use screenshot import, the image is sent to Google’s Gemini service to read the names and numbers from it. That is what makes the feature work. The extracted result is cached so retrying the same screenshot does not re-process it.
Upload only match screenshots. Anything else in an image you upload is sent to that service along with it.
Where it is stored
Data is held in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted in Singapore, and the site runs on Vercel’s infrastructure. Reminder emails are sent through Resend. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf in order to run the service.
What is public, and what is not
Your tournaments are private to your account by default. If you create a share link or use the stream overlay, the standings on that link become visible to anyone who has it — that is the purpose of the feature. Nothing else about your account is exposed by it, and you are not required to share anything.
Cookies
A single cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Clearing it signs you out and nothing else.
We do not sell your data
Your data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing by us or by anyone else. It is used to run ScrimBoard for you, and for nothing else.
Keeping and deleting it
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete any tournament from within the app at any time. To have your account and everything in it deleted, write to us and we will do it — we will confirm when it is done. Records of payments already made are kept where we are required to keep them.
Children
ScrimBoard is not intended for children under 13, and accounts should not be created by them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how data is used will be notified to registered users by email.
Contact
ScrimBoard is operated by Lala Mumtaz Ali. For any question about your data, or to request deletion, contact scrimboard@gmail.com or WhatsApp +923252332661.
